We started with some light drinks and canapes ( ok - crisps and nuts) to get the juices flowing... plus some light sports of the table kind and some darts testing. Everyone getting know each other, a buzz of gentle conversation and banter flowed!<br> <br><br> <br><br> <br> Arriving at 7pm or thereabouts! ...after a dash down the M1... fully laden with a sumptuous Indian feast were Danny and Vimal. A swift transfer onto the club hut tables, queues quickly formed, teams brandishing quiz papers, our hungry party goers were all treated to a glorious feast, washed down with ice cool beer, wine, San Pellegrino and rounded off with some well earned Ice cream desserts!<br> <br><br> <br><br> <br> Our Wimblledon quiz teams took shape.. one of which -Don&#39;t blame Colin -looked to be the front runner!..<br> <br><br> <br><br> <br> Meanwhile, some healthy Darts competition was taking place on the practice wall... and over the other side cues of another kind were brandished whilst snooker and pool rules were worked out for the novice players!<br> <br><br> <br><br> <br><br> <br> Sounds of groans and hi-fives filtered across from the table football as some of our family teams even locked heads!<br> <br> <br> <br><br> <br> In the Darts competition, Karen hit the first bulls eye, laying down the first marker and plenty of bragging rights! but her feat was eclipsed by Urma forging ahead in the first round only for Jane to pip her and Amy at the post with a 97 score in the second round.<br><br><br> <br><br> <br> In the Quiz the stand outs were Sailesh, Scott, Ed and Renaud shadowing Jim, Vicky and John&#39;s Sweet Cookie team by one point and finishing with 22 out of 36 to clinch the 1st Prize.!<br> <br><br> <br><br> <br> Great fun, Fantastic summer evening, Lots pf laughs and must do it again, thanks to all who were able to make it!
